The inner self unleashed.
In an intricate and interlocking Fair Isle colour and lace patterning, St. Jones Within plays with the seeming simplicity of two different directions. It is top down and worked in the round with steeks. After reinforcing and cutting the steeks, stitches are picked up and the sides of the sweater are worked sideways to specified width, then the sleeves are worked down to cuffs. Gauges

To find your needle sizes you need to swatch.
Stockinette: 29 sts / 39 rows to 10cm / 4” using size A needles.
Fair Isle: 29 sts / 30 rnds to 10cm / 4” using size B needles.
Lace: 21 sts / 35 rows to 10cm / 4” using size A needles.

Needles & Notions

The gauges were achieved with the following needles. To work the pattern as written, you must swatch and use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Size A: 3mm (US 2.5) needles of varying lengths
Size B: 3.5mm (US 4) needles of varying lengths

You will also need: needle & thread, or crochet hook & yarn, or felting tool & mat for reinforcing steeks; scissors for cutting steeks; spare needles or interchangeable cables for holding sts; stitch markers.
