St Jones Without
A lacy and modular top-down tee worked in a silky merino. First, front and back panels of ribbing are worked top-down, with short row and decrease shaping at the neck for an interesting detail. Then stitches are picked up along the sides of the panels and the lace is worked to the sides and joined with a 3-needle BO. The armbands are finished with an attached lace edging. A tee that you don't want to be without!

Yarn
Fruitful Fusion merino silk (50% silk, 50% superwash merino; 400 metres per 100 grams) in colourway Ocean: (2,2,3)(3,3,3)(3,4,4) skeins or
(655,720,815)(855,1035,1155)(1200,1400,1575) metres /
(715,790,890)(935,1130,1265)(1315,1530,1725) yards.
Note: I used 776 metres / 849 yards for size 3 and I have added in 5% into the listed yarn amounts. So you may only need 2 skeins for size 3, but you may wish to have 3 skeins on hand at the start just in case since this is hand‐dyed yarn and the colour can vary across batches.
Gauge
To find your needle sizes you need to swatch.
Farrow Rib: 23 sts and 36 rows to 10cm / 4” with size A needles.
Summer Stitch Lace (Chart C): 23 sts and 30 rows to 10cm / 4” with size A needles. (This is the Summer Stitch by Naomi Parkhurst).
Needles and Notions
The gauges were achieved with the following size A needles. To work the pattern as written, you must swatch and use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Size A: 3.5mm (US 4) needles of varying lengths
Size B: 4mm (US 6) needles of any length (used for BOs).
You will also need: spare needles or interchangeable cables for holding st, stitch markers, removable markers.
