Cappahayden is pattern #5 of Landed, Volume 1: The Avalon, Timeless Lace and Stranded Knitting Patterns for the Adventurous Handknitter.

Cappahayden

Cappahayden is a modular dolman tee showcasing a patchwork interplay of Fair Isle and simple lace. The patchwork squares are worked first and joined. The remaining front and back body lace is worked flat and then stitches are picked up and the dolman sleeves are worked in the round. This cool and cropped summer overlay is so great over a camisole or summer dress.

Cappahayden is part of Volume 1 of the Landed series. You can find Volume 1 here: Landed, Volume 1: The Avalon, Timeless Lace and Stranded Knitting Patterns for the Adventurous Handknitter

A throwback to Terra Nova 🥰 Terra Nova has specific horizontal bands of Fair Isle in the arms, gussets, and little wiggle room to add extra underarm fabric (all the arm shaping is in the lace sleeve panels). Tomorrow I'm publishing Chandler Reach (p
Is 7 colours too many for a hemp sweater? If you love them, it's most definitely not!!! 🥰 I'll have several more 100% hemp sweater designs next year with fewer colours....1 to 3 colours....in the meantime I just really want this one to be first.
