Trepassey

Trepassey, the start of a collection -- the Stepaside Collection -- and my first foray into designing without stranded colourwork. The Stepaside Collection is a collection of individually-released sweaters, colourwork and non-colourwork, and all using the pocket construction of Stepaside. The Stepaside Collection will feature some designs covered all over with stranded knitting and also some designs completely devoid of the colourwork. The feeling of trespassing into some uncharted territory, Trepassey is a smashing start to this collection. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

This cardigan is a top-down, saddle shoulder construction full of detail. The sleeves are seamless and slightly set-in, and the body has a flattering and drapey A-line flare, complemented by the visual outline that the Stepaside pockets provide from the front. You can easily add buttons and use the eyelets along the selvedge as buttonholes or simply leave it as an open front cardi.
