L'Anse-au-Loup

CA$12.00

L’Anse-au-Loup is a top-down dolman. Short-rows create the shoulder shaping and the dolman sleeve shaping, and all stranded colourwork is worked in the round and steeked. It is cropped with the split hem meant to rest at the high upper hip.

L’Anse-au-Loup is a community in Labrador and translates into English as “Wolf Cove”. Designed for Jule a.k.a Hey Mama Wolf using her Mokosh base, it is a sweater to hug yourself in and go tinkering around outside in the plants and flowers. The colours in the sample are Hawthorne (light pink) and Red Onion (yellow-green), hand-dyed and plant-dyed by her.
