Trepassey Shawl
Trepassey Shawl is inspired by the cardigan, Trepassey. I wanted to make a shawl that focuses purely on the fun of knitting the lace and textured bands without fiddling with the crazy construction that makes the cardigan. These textured bands are so much fun! Just a pure and fun knit for the pure joy of knitting.
The center textured lace is provisionally cast on and worked first. Then the first wing is worked sideways in bands of stockinette and textured lace, and with increases and decreases providing shaping. The provisionally cast on stitches are placed on needles and the second wing is worked in the same manner as the first wing.
