Gauges

To find your needle size, you should swatch for the lace.

Lace: 25 st and 32 rows of Chart D to 10cm / 4” with gauge‐size needles after blocking (or needle size required to match gauge).

Stockinette: 25 st and 32 rows to 10cm / 4” with gauge‐size needles after blocking (or needle size required to match gauge).

Needles and Notions

The gauge was achieved with the following needle sizes. To work the pattern as written, you must swatch and use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

3mm (US 2.5) 100cm / 40” circulars for body and sleeves; DPNs for sleeves, if preferred

You will also need: cable needle to wrap stitches (a J‐shaped needle works best); spare needles, interchangeable cables or scrap yarn for holding st; stitch markers.
