Needles and Notions

Size A: 3.5mm (US 4) circular needles or straights of various lengths for stockinette sleeves and basketweave body; you may find it more comfortable to work with two 100cm / 40” circular needles for the back wingspan.
Size B: 4mm (US 6) 80cm / 32” or 100cm / 40” circular needle for stranded bands.
You will also need:
spare needles or interchangeable cables for holding sts, 3.5mm (US E-4) crochet hook for surface crochets along
top of shoulder/sleeve, a needle two sizes smaller than your size A needle for Jeny’s Stretchy Bind Off, stitch markers.
