Gripes Nest

Sale Price: CA$4.50 Original Price: CA$6.00

Hiking through a section of trail between Cappahayden
and Renews, called Gripes Nest, is like being a frog leaping
from lily pad to lily pad for several kilometers. I’m not
entirely sure if that is why that section is called Gripes
Nest, but I remember griping quite a lot when we made
it through the bog, and at the same time being ecstatic that
we made it through without falling in the water. I hope you
enjoy the wee journey of this colorwork cowl, griping only a
little bit about the long floats, and ending up with a
beautiful cowl in which to nestle your head.

The cowl is provisionally cast on, worked in the round, and grafted closed. You don’t have to catch the long floats since they will remain hidden and worry free once you graft the tube closed!
