Great Harbour Deep
A summer dress harbouring a deep band of Fair Isle, the patterning in which could be a dream of colourful sea creatures playing beneath the sea.
The dress is a drop-shoulder with an A-line shape, and is worked top down from the shoulders to the hem. The upper body is worked flat with the edging at the arms built in to the knitting, then the upper back and front is joined at the underarm and the dress is continued in the round down to the hem. An applied BO finishes the neckline, and an applied lace BO finished the hemline.

Gauges
To find your needle sizes, you need to swatch both in single‐colour stockinette and the stranded colourwork in order to find your needle sizes that will achieve the required gauges.
Stockinette: 23 sts / 33 rows/rnds to 10cm / 4” using size A needles.
Fair Isle: 23 sts / 27 rnds to 10cm / 4” using size B needles.
Needles & Notion
The gauges were achieved with the following needles. To work the pattern as written, you must swatch and use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Size A: 3.25mm (US 3) circular needles of varying lengths
Size B: 3.75mm (US 5) 80cm / 32” or 100cm / 40” circular needles
You will also need: spare needles or interchangeable cables for holding sts; stitch markers; removable markers.
