Gaskiers-Point La Haye

An elegant and edgy cable lace sweater featuring the Nalgar sleeve construction which was originally knitvented by the perennial Elizabeth Zimmermann. The bottom-up construction leads to Nalgar sleeves -- which are reverse raglan sleeves -- resulting in an intriguing geometry. After the Nalgar shaping is finished, shoulder shaping is worked and the shoulders are joined with a 3-needle bind-off. And ultimately "Gaskiers" always reminds me of sailing gaskets, hence the finishing touch where the shoulder cut-outs are fiilled in with ribbing and lashed together with I-cords.
