Colinet

Colinet is a fitted cardigan featuring a striking Fair Isle collar all the way down to the hem. It is knit top down and with seamless set-in sleeves formed by short rows. The Fair Isle motif is large but is as delicate as a netted butterfly.

4 to 6” positive ease at chest. Sample shown is the size 2 on an

The Fibre Co. Lore (100% Kent lambswool; 250 metres / 100 grams) in 6 colours:

MC (Stable; light brown): 3(3,3,4)(4,5,5) skeins or
615(680,750,860)(920,1030,1145) metres /
675(745,820,940)(1005,1095,1255) yards

CC1 (Confident; charcoal): 1 skein or
130(135,135,140)(145,150,155) metres /
145(150,150,155)(160,165,170) yards

CC2 (Truth; dark green): 1 skein or
70(70,70,75)(75,80,80) metres / 80(80,80,85)(85,90,90) yards

CC3 (Serene; light grey): 1 skein or
65(65,65,70)(70,75,75) metres / 70(70,70,75)(75,85,85) yards

CC4 (Heaven; light seafoam): 1 skein or
30(30,30,30)(35,35,35) metres / 35(35,35,35)(40,40,40) yards

CC5 (Gentle; dusty rose): 1 skein or
55(55,55,60)(60,60,65) metres / 60(60,60,65)(65,65,70) yards

Note: an additional 160(165,170,175)(180,185,190) metres /
175(180,185,195)(200,205,210) yards is required for the neckband
facing. Work the neckband facing in one of the colours that has the
required amount left over after finishing the full body and sleeves.

Gauges

Listed gauges are to 10cm / 4”.

Stockinette: 18 sts / 26 rows using size A needles
Fair Isle: 18 sts / 22 rows using size B needles

Needles & Notions

Size A: 4.5mm / US 7 needles
Size B: 5mm / US 8 needles
Change needle size as necessary to obtain gauge

You will also need:
7 ⨉ 2cm / 0.75” buttons (or desired number of buttons); a circular
needle 2 to 3 sizes smaller than Size A needle for picking up sts
around the armscyes; stitch markers; removable markers; spare
needles or scrap yarn for holding sts
