Carré

CA$12.00

Carré was first published in the French FIBRE magazine no.2 in April 2024, and is now available for individual purchase in English.

One of my favourite songs is “Where the Streets Have No Name”, so this sweater attempts to subtly embody the city centre in Mannheim, the Quadrate, a place where the streets have no name. Carré is worked top down in slipped stitch ribbing, and decorated by a gorgeous and unique lace and colourwork band. Short rows form deep shaping over the shoulders and then transitions to the lace and colourwork band across the wingspan. After the sleeves are closed using a 3-needle BO, the remaining body is worked in the round to the hem.
