Name Change and Life Change
A magical spot I came across when I was walking/hiking back home after dropping Basil off at a summer camp three years ago. I was hiking along and then suddenly this door in the trees was there with a view overlooking the east end of the city. It was so cool.
There is a big change that I need to do. And because of it, I’m changing names. Don’t worry, everything is amicable and chaos free as usual. I’m fine and zen, and more importantly, my son Basil is fine and zen too.
You may have noticed on Ravelry and on Instagram in the last while that I’ve changed my username from “knitjbeale” to “knitjlee”. I’m slowly migrating my business name “knitjbeale Designs” to “knitjlee Designs”. And over the next month or two I’m going back to my maiden name Jennifer McLarty. But this time in design work as Jennifer Lee McLarty to coincide better with the “knitjlee Designs” business name — which uses my middle name and won’t cause confusion again. And it has a rather nice ring to it! :)
This is just a little update since I’ve had some questions about the usernames and new design name, and I’m sure there will be for a while. Hopefully this trickles down the knitting grapevine so you can find my work without feeling spun around. Happy Knitting and you stay zen too!
